4x8 wool rugs in modern designs — a wide runner format for hallways, kitchens, and elongated entries where standard runner widths don't fill the space. Hand-tufted and hand-knotted in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. Every design available in custom sizes.

4x8 Rugs: The Generous Corridor Piece

The 4x8 is a wide, long format that serves hallways, kitchens, and entry passages that have outgrown what a standard 2.5- or 3-foot runner can do. At 4 feet wide, the rug extends noticeably beyond the runner category — this is a format that fills a corridor with presence rather than punctuating it. It also works as a small dining room rug for a 2-person table where the round or rectangular proportions at 4x8 leave comfortable chair clearance on the long sides.

The Pink Ombre Hand-Loomed Wool Rug brings the gradient color and soft hand-loomed surface to this elongated format — the ombre reads particularly well in a longer piece where the color transition has room to develop. The Relay Striped Hand-Tufted Wool Rug brings bold stripe in a direction that extends the length of the piece.
