Jubi is a woman-owned family-run company based in Brooklyn, NY. Founded in 2020 by textile artist Cassie Dagostino, we design and create handmade rugs and decor.

From My Family to Yours
Meet Our Founder
Crafting has always been a part of my life, thanks to my grandma, a talented seamstress from Italy. She handmade my clothes and home decor, and as I grew up, we turned my sketches into reality.
In 2019, I moved in with her, and the COVID lockdown gave us the chance to craft together again. We started with embroidery kits and soon moved on to punch needle, weaving, and making rugs. Frustrated with the bland, mass-produced rugs available, I decided to create my own colorful designs that better suited our home's quirks. I loved the process so much that I kept creating, eventually making so many rugs that I opened an Etsy shop called Jubi.
With a tufting frame built by my dad and countless hours of experimentation, I began making custom designs for clients worldwide. By 2023, I partnered with independent artisans in India, Mexico, and Los Angeles to expand our collection. Each rug is crafted by hand, just for you, with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices.
Jubi is now a global community celebrating unique, handcrafted decor that beautifies spaces and supports artisans worldwide.

The process begins with cleansing and dyeing the wool, followed by weaving, finishing, and finally shipping. Each rug is made with love, ensuring no waste or deadstock. Our global team of artisans brings these designs to life using time-honored rug-making techniques, infusing each piece with distinct character and a unique story.

Every year, the world generates millions of tons of textile waste, with carpets and rugs alone contributing 3.4 million tons to the pile. At JUBI, we recognize the critical need for sustainable practices in the home decor industry. Unlike traditional models that produce excess inventory contributing to landfill waste, JUBI adopts an on-demand production model. We create unique, made-to-order rugs, ensuring that we only produce what our customers need.
