6x7 wool rugs in modern designs — hand-knotted and hand-tufted in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. A nearly square primary rug for living rooms and dining rooms with specific proportional requirements. Every design available in custom sizes.

6x7 Rugs: When the Room Is Wider Than It Is Long

The 6x7 proportions — wider relative to length than a standard rectangle — serve rooms and arrangements that are themselves closer to square. A living room that runs 12 feet wide but only 10 feet deep reads better with a 6x7 or 6x6 than with a 6x9 that would extend too far into the room without covering enough width. A dining room with a slightly wide, short table. A bedroom where a 6x9 would extend too far past the foot of the bed.
