As a runner, Ledger stretches this geometric rug into a long, ordered sequence of nested blocks, ideal for a hallway, a kitchen galley, or the length of an entry where the rectangular bands lead the eye forward. Deep navy and teal grounds carry olive and chartreuse accent bands, with softer seafoam blocks framing the run, so the geometry stays structured along its full length. The repeating fields give a narrow space rhythm, turning a plain corridor into something composed and intentional. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from plush New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that keeps each block soft and dimensional underfoot. Made to order in any length and width, and any of over 1,200 wool colors, so the runner fits the corridor exactly and the palette suits the room it passes through. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Sizing a Geometric Runner Rug for a Hallway

A runner rug lives or dies on length. In a hallway, leave roughly equal floor showing at each end and a few inches of bare floor along the sides, so the rug reads as a deliberate band rather than wall-to-wall carpet. As a rough guide, a runner should stop about a foot short of where the hall opens out. Ledger suits this placement because its nested rectangular blocks already move in one direction: the overlapping bands draw the eye down the corridor and make a long, narrow space feel intentional rather than merely passed through. In a kitchen, a runner cushions the stretch in front of the counter, and the pattern hides everyday wear better than a plain ground.

Hand-tufting holds that pattern steady over a long run. Artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool through a stretched canvas by hand, then shear and carve the surface so each block meets the next in a clean seam, even where the design repeats across many feet. The 0.75 inch pile is soft enough for daily traffic and dense enough to keep its shape in a high-use corridor.
