What the portfolio shows
Three kinds of project, labeled by how the design began. A customized Jubi design is an existing design adapted for a room: a new size, a different shape, a palette chosen for the space. An original design commission is a design our studio developed from the client's brief. A client-supplied design is artwork the client brought, prepared by Jubi for production. The larger installations show how the same process scales across a hotel floor or an office.
Across all of them the material and the making are the same: New Zealand wool, handwoven in Bhadohi. What varies is the specification. Some were commissioned by interior designers and architects through the Jubi Trade Program; others came directly from the people who live with them.
