Sculpted Edge Hand-Tufted Wool Rug

In runner form, Sculpted Edge is a scalloped wool runner that sends its stacked cloud-like rows down the length of a hallway, each parted by a wavy carved band so the surface keeps a rolling rhythm from one end to the other, with the bubbly scalloped outline softening a narrow space that usually feels all straight lines. It comes in a wide range of tones, from soft cream and brown tan through green, blue, navy blue, purple, and deep black, so it can warm a corridor or sharpen a galley kitchen. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that gives the carved waves their soft, dimensional depth. It is made to order in any size or color, drawn from over 1,200 wool colors, so the runner can be cut to your exact length. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Behind The Design

Clouds were the starting point: the soft, stacked shapes that pile up on a slow afternoon, rounded and weightless and never quite holding still. Sculpted Edge translates that into wool, with bubbly rows climbing one above the next, each one parted by a wavy carved band that rolls across the surface like a current.

Yes. Every design is available in custom sizes and a curated range of wool colorways through our online customizer, or contact our studio for exact dimensions and access to over 1,200 wool colors.

When will my rug ship?

Tufted rugs ship in 2 to 3 weeks. Every rug is handmade to order.

What is the return policy?

Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?

Choosing a Scalloped Runner for a Hallway

A scalloped runner asks for a slightly different approach than a standard rectangle. Because Sculpted Edge carries its pattern lengthwise, the cloud-like rows and carved bands repeat naturally down a corridor, so the longer the run, the more the rhythm reads.
