5x8 wool rugs in modern designs — hand-knotted and hand-tufted in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. A step up from the 5x7, with stronger coverage for compact living rooms, dining rooms for four to six, and queen bedroom placements. Every design available in custom sizes.

5x8 Rugs: Primary Room Coverage in a Compact Footprint

The 5x8 does everything the 5x7 does, with 5 additional square feet that make the difference in rooms where the 5x7 stops just short. In a living room, the extra foot of length means front-legs-on seating can extend slightly further without the rug running out from under the arrangement. In a dining room, a 5x8 works more comfortably than a 5x7 for a 4-person table where the chairs need pulling out regularly. Under a queen bed, the additional length covers more of the perimeter on the sides and foot.
