Every Jubi rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool — chosen for its long staple fibers, natural softness, and durability. Its natural lanolin provides inherent stain resistance, and its ability to take dye produces rich, lasting color.
Some initial shedding is normal with natural wool and typically settles within the first few weeks of regular use.
Fourth-generation weaving families in Bhadohi, India — the historic center of handmade rug production — make every Jubi rug to order. Each piece is tufted, carved, and shaped entirely by hand.

A runner asks a different question than a room-sized rug: not how to fill a space but how to lead through one. Breakline answers it well because its softened checkerboard already has direction, the blocks stacking and breaking down the length so the eye follows the path. To size a hallway runner, leave a few inches of floor on either side rather than wall-to-wall, and let the rug stop short of doorways so the grid reads cleanly. In two tones of blue, navy against cornflower, the pattern stays grounding underfoot in a narrow space that often feels like an afterthought. Hand-tufting gives the blocks their relief: artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool by hand, then carve and shear each square so it stands in gentle dimension, a texture a flatweave runner cannot hold. Explore more in our Runner Rugs and Geometric Rugs collections. Every Jubi rug is made to order, so a Breakline runner can be woven to the exact length your hall calls for.
