Brown Tan Checkered Grid is a checkered wool rug that lays out an even checkerboard of warm caramel-tan and deep brown-black squares, and then quietly complicates it: every square is filled with rows of tiny ladder-like dashes, so the surface reads as a clean grid from a distance and as fine, woven detail up close. The two earthy tones trade places square by square, giving the pattern a steady cadence that grounds a room rather than crowds it. Designed in New York and hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.5 inch pile, a dense, fine, durable surface that holds the small dashes sharply.
