As a runner, Colorful Checkered is a checkered rug drawn out into a long path of color. A narrow column of the charcoal-black grid carries its mismatched squares, mustard, orange, green, lavender, soft blue, red, wine, terracotta, and cream, in a rhythm that leads the eye from one end to the other. It can be finished with or without ivory fringe. A runner solves the spaces a wider rug cannot: a corridor, a galley kitchen, the run alongside a bed or a long entry where every step lands on a different bright block. Designed in New York and hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a fine 0.5 inch pile that keeps the squares crisp and stands up to daily foot traffic. Made to order in any length and any color, with 55 colors curated for online customization and more than 3,000 available through the studio. Each rug is ready in 5 to 6 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen with use. Vacuum regularly on a high-pile setting. Clip loose ends with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills immediately with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning recommended.

Shipping: Knotted rugs are handmade to order and typically ship within 5–6 weeks. Once dispatched, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.
