Checkered is a checkered rug kept small in scale, a tight even grid of squares woven flat so the pattern reads as steady texture underfoot rather than a statement. In the Jubi Customizer you start from the Black and Gray colorway, enter exact dimensions down to the inch, choose the shape, and color Check 1 and Check 2 yourself in custom colors. Rectangle, round, oval, arch, and corner are built in. The grid never changes its gauge: the squares stay small and multiply to fill new dimensions, so a 3 by 5 and a 9 by 12 carry the same fine check. Fifty-five colors are curated for online customization, and more than 3,000 are available through the studio.

Designed in New York and hand-woven in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.25 inch pile that keeps the surface flat, light, and crisp. Production takes 6 to 7 weeks, and it ships free worldwide, duties included.
