Puddle Organic Shaped Hand-Tufted Wool Rug

Stretched long and narrow, Puddle becomes a scalloped runner rug of rippling rings, its wavy outline winding the length of a hallway like water finding a channel. The tones shift from a pale, sandy taupe at the core out through warm browns to a deep chocolate edge, each ring carved a step below the next so the surface holds gentle relief from end to end. The looping silhouette softens a corridor that a straight runner would only formalize. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that gives the carved bands their soft, cushioned depth. The runner suits a hall, a galley kitchen, or the length of a bed, anywhere a long, organic line brings warmth underfoot. Made to order in any size, so the rings can run as long as the space asks. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Behind The Design

Water pooling on a flat surface gave Puddle its shape: the soft, irregular edge of a spill and the way calm rings spread out from a single point. We translated that into a scalloped silhouette of wavy bands, each ring carved by hand so it sits a little proud of the next.

Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?

Every rug is handmade, so slight variations in color and texture are natural. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear. Order a sample to see the color and feel the wool in your space.

Sizing a Scalloped Rug for a Hallway

A runner has one job, to carry a long, narrow space, and a scalloped rug like Puddle does it while softening every step.
