The Sketchbook
Behind The Design
A flower can behave like a doodle instead of a botanical print, petals stretched and pooled, blooms grown past life size and left a little off balance. Floral Blossom keeps that looseness, some shapes reading clearly as flowers and others dissolving into pure form.
The Craft
Made the Long Way
Your rug doesn’t exist yet. It starts when you order: master artisans spin the wool, dye it to your color, then tuft and carve it by hand.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?
Every rug is handmade, so slight variations in color and texture are natural. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear. Order a sample to see the color and feel the wool in your space.
A square floral rug with raised, carved blooms works best when you let the relief be the star. Floral Blossom in this 3D treatment keeps its ground mostly open, so a few oversized flowers stand out in genuine depth rather than competing with a crowded field. Give it space: a simple low sofa, a plain coffee table, walls that stay calm, so the sculpted petals read as the room's main texture. In a square seating area, center it so an even margin shows on all four sides and the blooms sit in clear view.
The dimension comes entirely from hand-tufting. Artisans set New Zealand wool through a stretched foundation by hand, then carve and shear the pile to different heights so the flowers rise above the ground and catch the light. That layered relief is the technique at its most expressive, and the reason this square feels closer to a textile artwork than a flat printed pattern.
