As a runner, Haven brings its warm, earthy brown to the long, narrow spaces that set the tone for a home, a neutral rug for a hallway, a galley kitchen, the stretch beside a bed. The heathered melange surface keeps closely related tones moving across the length, so even a slim format reads as natural texture rather than a flat strip of color. The low, even pile feels smooth underfoot and grounds high-traffic paths without crowding them. It comes in Cocoa, Camel, Hazel, Mocha Brown, Sage, and Stone. Designed in New York and hand-loomed in Bhadohi, India, Haven is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.65 inch pile that keeps the texture refined and easy to live with. Each runner is made to order in any size, woven to fit your hallway or kitchen exactly. Every piece is ready in 5 to 6 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

Construction: Hand-loomed

Material: 100% New Zealand wool

Dimensions: Standard sizes available online, with fully custom sizes on request

Pile Height: 0.5"

Origin: Handmade in Bhadohi, India — a region renowned for fine carpet weaving

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen with use. Vacuum regularly on a high-pile setting. Clip loose ends with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills immediately with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning recommended.

See our rug care guide for more tips.

Our Picks for You

Sizing a Neutral Rug Runner for a Hallway or Kitchen

A runner has to fit its corridor to work, so a neutral rug that can be woven to length is a real advantage. Haven runs warm and earthy down a hallway or galley kitchen, its heathered brown reading as soft texture rather than a hard line, which keeps a narrow space feeling open instead of boxed in. As a rule, leave a few inches of floor on either side and at the ends so the runner frames the path rather than filling it wall to wall.

Hand-looming suits this format well. Woven on a loom by artisans in Bhadohi, the New Zealand wool sits at a low, even pile that stays smooth and wears evenly through the foot traffic a runner sees daily. The understated surface hides everyday use better than a bold pattern would.
