Plum Oval Hand-Tufted Wool Rug

A plum round rug gathers the color into one circle: dusty violet with rose under it, even from the center to the curved edge, a shape that draws the eye inward wherever it lands. The tone is muted and warm, a purple greyed until it reads as depth, so the circle sits on the floor with the weight of a solid and none of the pull of a bright color. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile, sheared level so the surface feels smooth and cushioned underfoot and the color stays consistent around the whole curve. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Softening a Boxy Room With a Plum Round Rug
