9 foot wool runner rugs in modern designs — hand-knotted and hand-tufted in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. For hallways and corridors that run just past the 8-foot standard, made to order in the full Jubi design range. Every design available in custom widths.

9 Foot Runner Rugs: One Step Past the Standard

A hallway that runs 9 feet doesn't get well served by an 8-foot runner — the runner stops a foot short of the corridor's end and the gap reads as a sizing error rather than an intentional margin. A 9-foot runner covers the full length with the small breathing room at each end that makes the placement look deliberate. This is a non-standard length at most retailers, but Jubi's made-to-order model makes it straightforward.

The same width considerations apply here as across all runners: 2.5 feet for narrower corridors, 3 feet for wider passages where more floor coverage is needed alongside the length.
