Premium New Zealand wool area rugs in natural palettes — earth tones, warm neutrals, and the natural color range of undyed and lightly dyed wool. Handwoven by master artisans in hand-knotted and hand-tufted constructions in every size and format. Each design is available as shown or customized to your exact specifications.

Natural Wool Rugs: Material First

When people search for natural rugs, they're usually looking for one of two things: natural material, or natural palette — and often both. Jubi's natural rug collection delivers on both counts. The material is premium New Zealand wool, one of the finest natural fibers available for rug construction. The palette runs from undyed and lightly dyed natural tones through the full range of earth-toned colorways — terracotta, walnut, chestnut, olive, gold.

Premium New Zealand wool is soft, resilient, and dimensionally rich in a way that reflects the quality of the fiber itself. A wool rug that's been handwoven by master artisans in hand-knotted or hand-tufted construction is a natural product in the fullest sense — and it performs like one.

Natural Palettes Across the Jubi Collection

The natural rug collection leads with palette. The Desert Matrix Hand-Knotted Wool Rug and Chestnut Octagon Link Hand-Knotted Wool Rug work in warm, sandy tones that read as genuinely natural — colors drawn from the earth rather than manufactured to approximate it. The Burnt Orange and Cream Shag Hand-Knotted Wool Rug brings those same tones into a high-pile, tactile format. The Organic Fusion Hand-Tufted Wool Rug and Rolling Tides Hand-Tufted Wool Rug pair natural palette with organic, fluid form — rugs where material and design reinforce each other.

For interiors built around natural materials — wood, stone, linen, leather — a natural wool rug integrates seamlessly. The Sunset Mosaic Arch Hand-Tufted Wool Rug and Portico Gold Arch Hand-Tufted Wool Rug both sit in this register — warm, arched forms in natural gold and cream tones that complement rather than compete with a material-rich interior.

Why Wool Is the Right Natural Material for a Rug

Premium New Zealand wool is lanolin-rich, which gives it natural soil and moisture resistance. It's resilient — the fiber springs back from compression rather than flattening permanently — which means a wool rug looks better after years of use than it does after months. It regulates temperature, repels allergens, and holds dye with a depth and variation that comes from the natural character of the fiber. In a rug that you'll live with for decades, those material properties matter as much as the design.
