A diamond rug brings movement that a straight grid cannot. Because Harlequin sets its diamonds on the diagonal, the eye travels across the surface at an angle, which makes a room feel wider and adds energy under simple, low furniture. The repeat is regular enough to feel orderly, so it organizes an open floor without competing with art or upholstery, and the warm chestnut-and-caramel palette keeps the geometry grounded rather than graphic.
Hand-tufting is what keeps those diamond edges clean. Working from the back of a stretched canvas, artisans set New Zealand wool through the foundation by hand, then shear the surface so each shape holds a crisp border against the next. That control is hard to achieve in a flatweave, which is why the technique suits a pattern built on tidy, repeating geometry.
Try it in a Square Rugs format to center a seating group, or run the pattern down a hall with our Runner Rugs. Every Jubi rug is made to order, so Harlequin can be woven in the size and palette your room calls for.
