We photograph all rugs in natural light to show the most accurate color and texture possible. That said, color is always influenced by its surroundings—lighting type, time of day, direction of your windows, even nearby colors can all subtly shift how a rug appears in your space. This is true of all textiles and materials.
Each rug is made by hand, so slight variations in color and detailing are natural and part of what makes your piece uniquely yours.
Yes. This hand-knotted wool rug is built for long-term wear, making it a strong choice for high-traffic areas like living rooms, dining rooms, and offices. Its textured surface and patterned grid also help conceal everyday signs of use, while the calming green tone works well in both casual and formal spaces.
Choosing the right rug size depends on your room layout, furniture placement, and how much floor you want to cover. Our Rug Size Guide walks you through what works best in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and more—plus tips for common layouts and sizing visuals to help you decide.
Vacuum regularly using low suction to protect the fibers. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth–avoid rubbing. For deep cleaning or tough stains, we recommend professional rug care.
Rugs ship rolled, so slight creasing is normal. The fibers will naturally relax over time. To speed up the process, you can gently lay the rug upside down for a day or place books on any raised edges.
You can find more tips in our Rug Care Guide.

Gridline Hand-Knotted Rug: Design & Details
Hand-Drawn Lines in Rich Wool
The Gridline Hand-Knotted Wool Rug pairs a clean geometric framework with the subtle irregularity of a hand-rendered grid. Offered in mossy green and rich rust, it works as a green living room rug, a sage green area rug, or a rust wool rug with warm, earthy character. The pattern feels modern and approachable, blending the precision of geometric rugs with the organic depth of hand-knotted construction. Style it as a mid-century modern rug, a farmhouse dining accent, or a graphic statement in contemporary spaces.
Sizes, Shapes, and Customization
Choose popular dimensions like 5x8, 6x9, 8x10, and 9x12, or scale up to 10x14 and 12x15. Gridline is also available as a square rug, runner, and in fully tailored dimensions. The green leans toward sage or olive, pairing beautifully with natural woods and neutral textiles. The rust evokes terracotta and burnt orange, adding warmth to modern interiors. As an alternative to a checkered rug, Gridline offers a relaxed, hand-drawn take on the grid motif. Start a request on our custom rugs page.
