Where a Chevron Round Rug Works Best
A chevron round rug behaves differently from a rectangle, drawing the eye inward to its curve rather than out to corners, which makes it a natural fit for the spots a rectangle fights. Float it under a round dining or entry table so the black-and-white wave echoes the tabletop, or set it in a reading nook where the circle softens an angular corner. Because the pattern fills the full round, a single piece can anchor a small room on its own.
Hand-tufting is what lets the curve carry across a circle. Artisans set New Zealand wool through a stretched canvas by hand, then shear and carve the surface so the cream ribbon stands just above the black ground, holding its line as it sweeps around. That carved relief gives the round a depth a printed circle cannot match.
