Customizable Desert Matrix Hand-Knotted Wool Rug

Desert Matrix is a southwestern rug of restraint rather than motif: a double row of tiny squares steps around an open field inside a fine border of dashes, so the pattern lives at the edge. In the Jubi Customizer you enter the rug's exact dimensions down to the inch, choose its shape, and set the palette, with custom colors throughout. As the numbers change, the border keeps its width and the squares keep their size, adding steps to the row, so the open center grows while the frame stays in proportion at a 6 by 9 or a long runner. Fifty-five colors are curated for online customization, and more than 3,000 are available through the studio.

Designed in New York and hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.5 inch pile, dense and firm, each knot tied by hand so squares this small keep their corners. Production takes 6 to 7 weeks, and it ships free worldwide, duties included.
