Rolling Tides is an abstract rug drawn as a contour map, bands nested one inside the next within a freeform outline that has no straight edge, the sculpted ridge between bands leading the eye across the floor. In the Jubi Customizer you enter the rug's exact dimensions down to the inch, choose its shape, and set the palette in custom colors, so the tones step light to dark the way a map grades depth, or hold close and read as texture. Give it new dimensions and the whole form grows as one continuous outline, bands keeping their proportion, curves staying curves. Fifty-five colors are curated for online customization, and more than 3,000 are available through the studio.
Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile carved so each band stands in relief against the next. Production takes 2 to 3 weeks, and it ships free worldwide, duties included.
