A tile runner solves a part of the home most rugs ignore: the long, narrow corridor. Sunset Mosaic suits that space because its block collage already reads as a sequence, so stretching it into a runner simply turns the warm earth tones, peach, ochre, brick, and burgundy, into a path you move along rather than a field you stand on. The trick to placing one is proportion: leave a few inches of floor on each side so the runner frames cleanly, and choose a length that stops short of the walls at either end rather than running wall to wall.
Because the pattern is made from repeating ribbed and smooth blocks, a runner of any length stays balanced, with no awkward cropping of a central motif. Hand-tufting keeps the texture crisp underfoot, artisans set New Zealand wool by hand and comb the ribbed panels so they hold their lines through heavy hallway traffic.
See the full format range in our Runner Rugs collection. Every Jubi rug is made to order, so the runner can be woven to your exact corridor.
