Choosing a Round Geometric Rug
A round geometric rug behaves differently from a rectangle, and Golden Geometry leans into it. The circular outline lets the sun motif read as one whole gesture, with the banded stripes radiating outward instead of stopping at hard corners. That makes it a natural anchor for a round dining table, a reading nook, or any spot where you want the eye to settle at a center rather than trace edges. Size a round rug so the furniture sits comfortably within or just over its perimeter, leaving a margin of the carved bands visible to frame the piece.
Hand-tufting is what gives the surface its quiet relief. Working from the back of a stretched canvas, artisans set New Zealand wool through the foundation by hand, then shear and carve the bands so they stand just proud of the ground, catching light as you move around the circle.
