Choosing the Right Round Tile Rug Size
A round tile rug sizes differently from a rectangle. With Sunset Mosaic, the block collage curves to a circular edge, so the warm earth tones of peach, ochre, brick, and burgundy pool toward the middle and the eye reads the whole piece at once. Under a round dining table, leave enough diameter that chairs stay on the rug when pulled out, usually a few feet wider than the table all around, so the circle frames the setting rather than cropping it.
In a seating area, a round anchors furniture inward and softens a room full of straight lines, pairing naturally with curved sofas and low modern chairs. Because the pattern is geometric and repeating, scaling the diameter up or down keeps it balanced.
Hand-tufting carries the blocks cleanly to the curved edge: artisans set New Zealand wool through a stretched canvas by hand, then shear and comb the ribbed and smooth panels.
