New Zealand wool, dyed to your palette.

Hand-tufted rugs are made by working yarn through a stretched canvas, then shearing and sculpting the pile by hand. The result is a dense, soft surface with clean edges to every shape, and the freedom to carve texture into the design.

Sunset Mosaic Arch is hand-tufted to order in Jubi’s Bhadohi studio. Its 100% New Zealand wool is dyed to the palette you choose, then the finished rug is bound and checked by hand before it ships.

Recoloring a Tile Rug Block by Block in the Jubi Customizer

A tile rug is a palette exercise first, and Sunset Mosaic makes that visible: twelve colorable layers, each recolored on its own. In the Jubi Customizer the starting point is Sunset, peach and cream stepping into terracotta, ochre, red, and oxblood, but the composition does not depend on those wools. Pull the whole field toward cream and sand and the collage reads like limestone; keep the warm run and deepen only the oxblood corner, and the piece gains weight at one end. Because ribbed and smooth panels alternate, neighboring blocks in close colors still separate by texture, so a custom color rug in two or three near shades holds its structure instead of flattening.

Size and shape work the same way. Enter dimensions to the inch, and the blocks scale with the field; switch from the arch to a runner or a round and the courses re-flow to the new outline, so the grid stays composed rather than cropped.
