3x6 wool rugs in modern designs — a format that spans area rug and short runner territory, suited to kitchens, entry halls, and bedside placements. Hand-knotted and hand-tufted in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. Every design available in custom sizes.

3x6 Rugs: Between Area Rug and Runner

At 3 by 6 feet, this size occupies useful middle ground. It's wide enough to read as an area rug rather than a narrow runner, but long enough to function directionally in spaces where length matters. In a kitchen alongside a counter or island, the 3-foot width covers the working corridor comfortably while the 6-foot length spans most of the active run. In a compact entry hall, it extends from the door into the passage more fully than a 3x5 can without crossing into runner proportions. Beside a bed, it provides a generous landing along the full side of a queen or king.
