Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to browse, choose and order a Jubi rug, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim for shop-jubi.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test our pages with automated accessibility tools and with a keyboard alone, and we fix problems as we find them.
On our product pages
- Color and size choices announce their name and whether they are selected.
- Screen readers read out a new price after a choice, a confirmation when a rug is added to the cart, and any message asking for a required choice.
- Product photos have text descriptions.
- Panels such as the size guide keep keyboard focus inside while open and close with the Escape key.
- Moving video can be paused, and stays still when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Text meets the WCAG AA minimum for contrast.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site come from other companies, including checkout and payment, customer reviews and the rug customizer. We work with these providers, but we do not control their code.
