As a runner, Burgundy Checkered is a checkered rug drawn out into a long, rhythmic band of warm color. The tonal checkerboard steps end to end, layered square blocks shifting from deep oxblood and wine through dusty terracotta to soft blush, a gently pixelated grid that carries the eye along its full length. The lighter squares lift against the deeper field, and hand-tufting gives each block its own depth underfoot. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from plush New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that feels soft and cushioned in a high-traffic path. The burgundy palette is the heart of the design, kept intact and woven to the length and width you need, made to order in any size for a hallway, a galley kitchen, or the floor beside a bed. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull).
