8x12 wool rugs in modern designs — hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and hand-loomed in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. The size between 8x10 and 9x12, for rooms where the length of a 9x12 is right but the extra width isn't needed. Every design available in custom sizes.

8x12 Rugs: The Longer 8-Foot Width

The 8x12 is for buyers who need the 12-foot length of a 9x12 but whose room doesn't require or accommodate the extra foot of width. A living room with a deep seating arrangement where the rug needs to run further from the sofa toward the room's far wall, but the walls on either side are close enough that 9 feet across would be too tight. A dining room with a long rectangular table where the table's length drives the rug dimension and the width is determined by the room. A bedroom where the rug extends generously past the bed's foot but the sides are constrained by nightstands, wardrobes, or doorways.
