A lush field of olive green gives this wool rug its bold simplicity. The hand-tufted surface enhances the natural richness of tone, creating a soft yet defined texture underfoot. Its saturated color makes it a grounding addition to both modern and traditional interiors.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Decorating With a Green Rug

A green rug behaves less like a statement and more like a backdrop drawn from nature, which is what makes a deep olive so easy to live with. The tone sits close to wood, stone, and foliage, so it reads as a natural floor rather than a bold color choice, grounding a room while leaving the walls and furniture room to speak. Olive works hardest in spaces that already carry warmth: pair it with oak and walnut, layer it under cream and oatmeal upholstery, or let it deepen a room of terracotta and brass.

Hand-tufting is what gives the color its quiet movement. Artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool through a backing by hand, then shear the surface level, so the even pile catches light across its depth and the solid green never looks lifeless. That cushioned 0.75 inch pile also makes it comfortable underfoot in the rooms where you slow down.
