New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Ledger works because its blocks are nested and weighted rather than scattered: a held center panel, clear margins, and overlapping bands that guide the eye inward instead of competing for it. Hand-tufting is what gives the blocks their precision. Working from the back of a stretched canvas, artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool through the foundation by hand, then shear and carve the surface so each field meets its neighbor in a crisp, defined seam. That control over where one color stops and the next begins is what a block-based geometric design needs, and it is difficult to hold so cleanly in a flatter weave. The 0.75 inch pile keeps every block soft underfoot while holding the geometry sharp.
