Mosaic lays out a patchwork of blocks in shifting scales, a tile wool rug fitted edge to edge like a collaged wall. This piece works through a warm range: blocks of salmon and terracotta sit beside cream and tan stripes, then drop into deep red, burgundy, and a near-black wine at the base, with several tiles carved into fine ribs that catch the light against the smoother fields. The varied block sizes keep the eye moving across the grid. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from plush 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that gives the surface its soft, dimensional depth. This is a finished 2′ x 3′ in stock and ready to leave the studio now, with no production wait.
