This is Portico as a ready 4′ x 6′ arch rug, in stock and leaving the studio now with no production wait. The arch silhouette carries a warm gold gateway at its center, framed by a cream surround and a keystone border of small blocks fanning around the curve. Columns trace down the sides in a dashed gold line, and two small squares ground the lower corners, so the piece reads like a doorway set into the floor. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that gives the gold center a soft, carved depth. At 4′ x 6′ it suits an entryway, the foot of a bed, or a reading corner where the arch can open into the room. This finished piece ships free worldwide, duties included.
