As a runner, Stitched Stripe stretches its layered horizon into a striped wool rug for a narrow length, the wavy bands traveling the rug rather than crossing it. A deep teal top gives way to a cream ridge, a warm rust band, a slim pink seam, a sweep of lime green, and the same teal returning as a long foreground. Where the teal meets the cream, green blanket-stitching is worked by hand across the width, raised just above the pile. A runner solves a hallway, a galley kitchen, or the side of a bed, carrying color and softness where a larger rug cannot reach. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile for a plush, cushioned surface. Made to order in any length and width, with 55 colors curated for online customization and more than 3,000 available through the studio. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Our Picks for You

Choosing the Right Length for a Striped Runner

A striped runner does its best work in the long, narrow spaces a room rug overlooks: a hallway, an entry, a galley kitchen, or the floor beside a bed. The trick is length. Leave a few inches of bare floor at each end rather than running the runner wall to wall, so the wavy bands of Stitched Stripe have room to breathe and the tufted striped edge reads as a finished border. In a hall, a longer runner draws the eye forward; beside a bed, a shorter one lands softly underfoot on the way up.

Hand-tufting keeps a runner plush along its whole length. Artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool by hand and carve the pile so the teal, rust and lime bands stay smooth and the blanket-stitched seam holds its line. In a high-traffic hallway, that dense hand-set pile also wears evenly underfoot, so the color holds up to daily passage. Explore more in our Runner Rugs and Striped Rugs collections. Every Jubi rug is made to order, so this runner can be woven to the exact length and palette your space needs.
