A geometric rug in walnut brings depth and warmth to a room while holding a clear, ordered structure underfoot. In Octagon Link, the linked octagons set up a steady, repeating rhythm, and the deep tone gives that rhythm weight, so the design grounds a space with a substantial, settled feel. It pairs well with dark woods, leather, and warmer lighting, where the connecting grid reads as fine line work against the rich color, keeping the depth from turning flat.
Hand-knotting keeps the geometry true. Each knot is tied by hand around the foundation, so the octagons hold their even sides and the links between them stay precise even at large sizes. Worked this densely, the wool carries the deep walnut evenly, so it reads rich and consistent rather than uneven across a wide floor. The low 0.5 inch pile gives a dense, durable surface that suits everyday rooms, with a firm, even height that keeps furniture stable on top. Because the pattern repeats evenly, the rug keeps its grounded balance across small accent sizes and wide, room-spanning ones, scaling without losing its composure.
