As a runner, Bark is an abstract rug in its most natural form. The branching vertical lines run the full length of the piece, warm amber and honey channels rising across a deep chocolate-brown ground, splitting and rejoining like the grain on a long plank. That upward flow draws the eye down a hallway, narrow entry, or galley kitchen, turning a transitional strip of floor into something with rhythm and warmth. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from plush 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that lets the carved lines stand in soft relief underfoot. It is made to order in any length and any of over 1,200 wool colors, so the runner can be sized to the exact corridor it needs to fill. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Sizing a Runner for a Hallway or Kitchen

A runner asks for proportion before pattern.
