New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Yes. Every design is available in custom sizes and a curated range of wool colorways through our online customizer, or contact our studio for exact dimensions and access to over 1,200 wool colors.

When will my rug ship?

Tufted rugs ship in 2 to 3 weeks. Every rug is handmade to order.

What is the return policy?

Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Are shipping and duties included?

Yes. All rugs ship free worldwide with all duties and tariffs included.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?

Every rug is handmade, so slight variations in color and texture are natural. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear. Order a sample to see the color and feel the wool in your space.

Sizing a Scalloped Rug in an Oval Shape

An oval scalloped rug behaves differently from a rectangle, and sizing it well is mostly about flow. Because the outline curves and the border ripples, an oval Scallop draws the eye inward to its calm center, which makes it a natural fit under a round or oval dining table where the rug should echo the furniture above it. Leave enough margin for chairs to pull back and stay on the surface, and the scalloped frame stays visible all the way around. In a bedroom it works run lengthwise at the foot of the bed, the soft border spilling past the frame on both sides.

Hand-tufting gives the rippling border its weight. Artisans set New Zealand wool through a stretched canvas by hand, then carve and shear the wavy edge so it reads as a raised frame rather than a printed line. The result holds the curve cleanly at any scale.
