Color Block is an abstract rug of two broad horizontal fields and the single seam where they meet, with no third element to soften the line. In the Jubi Customizer you begin from one of five starting colorways, enter exact dimensions down to the inch, choose a shape, and give the two layers, top and bottom, their own custom colors. Because the design is only the seam, new dimensions change each field's proportion rather than the pattern, so a runner carries a long low horizon, a 9 by 12 a broad one. Rectangle, runner, round, oval, arch, and corner are built in. Fifty-five colors are curated for online customization, and more than 3,000 are available through the studio.
Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile, plush and cushioned, so the seam is a soft meeting of surfaces, not a hard edge. Production takes 2 to 3 weeks, and it ships free worldwide, duties included.
