Gridline is a geometric rug ruled by hand: black lines cross a single ground, leaning and thickening where the pen slowed, so no two cells match and the grid reads as drawn rather than set. In the Jubi Customizer you enter the exact dimensions down to the inch, choose a shape, and pick the palette in custom colors, so the drawing sits on whatever ground the room needs. The design adapts by adding cells, not enlarging them: a longer rug carries more rows of the wandering grid, a wider one more columns, and the line keeps its hand-drawn weight. Fifty-five colors are curated for online customization, and more than 3,000 are available through the studio.
Designed in New York and hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.5 inch pile, dense and firm, each knot tied by hand so a line can swell where the drawing did. Production takes 5 to 6 weeks, and it ships free worldwide, duties included.
