Stitched Stripe is a striped wool rug of wide wavy bands stacked like a horizon seen through half-closed eyes, the top color returning as the base so the composition closes on itself. Contrast blanket-stitching runs along one seam, and short stripes tufted into one end read as fringe but are pile. In the Jubi Customizer you enter exact dimensions down to the inch, choose the shape, and set a palette of custom colors for the bands. Give the design new dimensions and the bands keep their proportion to the whole, each wave carrying across the wider floor, the seam and tufted end staying at the edges. Fifty-five colors are curated for online customization, and more than 3,000 are available through the studio.

Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that lets the bands blur into one another. Production takes 2 to 3 weeks, and it ships free worldwide, duties included.
