4x5 wool rugs in modern designs — hand-tufted and hand-knotted in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. A compact format for entry halls, small living rooms, and bedside placements where the nearly-square proportions suit the space. Every design available in custom sizes.

4x5 Rugs: Nearly Square, Broadly Useful

The 4x5 proportions are close to square — wider relative to their length than most standard rectangles — which makes them particularly well-suited to rooms and spaces that run slightly wider than they are deep. A compact entry vestibule, a square-ish alcove, a breakfast nook beside a small table: these are the spaces where a standard 3x5 feels too narrow and a 4x6 feels slightly long. The 4x5 fits the room rather than asking the room to accommodate a standard proportion it doesn't match.
