A solid color rug lives or dies on its edge, and Contour Edge puts everything there: one saturated field, one deeper border tracing the softly rounded corners, nothing else. It comes in five colorways, each setting the center against a darker tone from the same family, clay rust inside maroon, deep olive inside near-black, denim inside ink navy, plum rose inside aubergine, and fern green inside pine. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that lends the surface a soft, velvety depth underfoot. The form scales cleanly, so field and border stay in proportion whether the rug anchors a reading corner or a full living room. Made to order in any size, including oversized, woven to the exact dimensions your room calls for. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Yes. Every design is available in custom sizes and a curated range of wool colorways through our online customizer, or contact our studio for exact dimensions and access to over 1,200 wool colors.

When will my rug ship?

Tufted rugs ship in 2 to 3 weeks. Every rug is handmade to order.

What is the return policy?

Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Are shipping and duties included?

Yes. All rugs ship free worldwide with all duties and tariffs included.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?

Every rug is handmade, so slight variations in color and texture are natural. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear. Order a sample to see the color and feel the wool in your space.
