This tile runner rug carries Tile's grid down its full length, three columns of warm clay-orange squares lifted in soft relief and framed by deep espresso-brown grout lines that run straight from end to end. The repeating squares pull the eye forward, which is exactly what a long, narrow format is for, while the carved channels give the surface a tactile, architectural rhythm. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that gives the raised squares their gentle cushion and the grout its shadowed depth. The clay-and-brown palette stays warm and grounding underfoot, and the runner is made to order in any length, woven to fit the exact run of your hallway, entry, or galley kitchen. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Our Picks for You

Sizing a Tile Runner Rug for a Hallway

A runner lives or dies by its length, and a grid pattern like Tile makes that even clearer: the squares march forward, so the eye reads the full run at a glance. Leave a few inches of bare floor on either side and a foot or so at each end, and let the clay-orange grid do the work of leading you through. In a galley kitchen, the raised squares add warmth and grip a long zone of standing space; in an entry hall, the dark grout lines hide the traffic that runners take most.

Hand-tufting is what gives this runner its structure. Working from the back of a stretched canvas, artisans set New Zealand wool through the foundation by hand, then shear and carve the surface so each square stands proud of the recessed grout. That relief is hard to achieve in a flat weave, which is why this construction suits a pattern built on raised, repeating geometry.
