Sizing a Floral Runner Rug for a Hallway

A floral runner rug has one job a wider rug does not: it has to carry a long, narrow run without the pattern feeling stretched or cut off. Floral Blossom handles that well because its blooms are loose and irregular to begin with, so they scatter naturally down the length rather than marching in a fixed repeat. For a hallway, leave a few inches of floor on each side so the runner reads as intentional, and choose a length that stops short of the baseboards at either end rather than running wall to wall.
