Made to order · Arrives –

A teal textured wool runner rug, the Sea Glass Strata runner is made up of short strokes of pale aqua and deep blue green, all running the same way and flecked with taupe. Over a long, narrow floor the light and dark strokes move like a current, so the color changes with every step and the length stays lively.

Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, from 100% New Zealand wool, it has a 0.75 inch pile, soft under bare feet and dense enough for the steady traffic a runner takes. It brings color to a hallway, a kitchen, a bedside, or an entry, and its mix of tones absorbs footprints into the surface. Made to order in the exact width and length the space needs.

Made in 3 to 4 weeks, it ships free worldwide with duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 3–4 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Our Picks for You

A Teal Textured Wool Runner Rug Beside the Bed or Counter

A runner is a small rug doing a specific job, which makes it a low-risk way to bring a strong color into a house. Beside a bed, a teal textured wool runner rug gives bare feet something soft and adds color to a room that is mostly bedding. Along a kitchen counter it softens the place where people stand longest, and teal looks fresh against white, gray, or wood cabinets.

Sea Glass Strata builds its teal from strokes of pale aqua and deep blue green with flecks of taupe. The variation is practical as well as good-looking, absorbing footprints and the odd mark into the surface.

For fit, a bedside runner works at about the length of the mattress. A kitchen runner should match the counter run, with a few inches of floor showing on each side.

Hand-tufting sets the wool into a dense 0.75 inch pile: artisans in Bhadohi work New Zealand wool through a stretched foundation by hand, then shear it even.
