A square teal textured wool rug, Sea Glass Strata Square is streaked from edge to edge with pale aqua and deep blue green, the strokes all running one way and flecked with taupe. The even sides frame the color like a pool, and the strokes give that pool a current, a direction for the room to follow. Each stroke differs slightly from the one beside it.

Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile, dense and cushioned underfoot. A square fits evenly arranged rooms: a square dining table, four chairs around a low table, a centered bed, or a wide entry. Sea Glass sits with pale oak, white walls, brass, and navy. Made to order in your exact dimensions.

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 3–4 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Yes. Every design is available in custom sizes and a curated range of wool colorways through our online customizer, or contact our studio for exact dimensions and access to more than 3,000 wool colors.

When will my rug ship?

Each rug is made to order. Hand-tufted rugs take 3–4 weeks to make, then ship free in about a week.

What is the return policy?

Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Are shipping and duties included?

Yes. All rugs ship free worldwide with all duties and tariffs included.

How will my rug arrive?

Your rug ships rolled and wrapped, free worldwide with duties included. Occasionally a large rug going overseas has to ship folded to meet carrier size limits. Any creases relax within a few days of laying it flat.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?

Every rug is handmade, so slight variations in color and texture are natural. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear. Order a sample to see the color and feel the wool in your space.

Square Textured Wool Rugs in Bedrooms and Entries

Two rooms take a square rug especially well. In a bedroom, a square set under the lower two thirds of the bed leaves an even border of wool at the foot and both sides, which is where bare feet land. In an entry, a square repeats the shape of the hall and gives the door a place to open onto.
