Amber wool is knotted with deeper rust tones in a vine motif framed by a structured border. The pattern settles into the surface with a tonal richness that feels aged yet refined. Finished with fringe, it carries the presence of a traditional textile translated through modern color.

Construction: Hand-knotted

Material: 100% New Zealand wool

Dimensions: Standard sizes available online, with fully custom sizes on request

Pile Height: 0.5"

Origin: Handmade in Bhadohi, India — a region renowned for fine carpet weaving

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen with use. Vacuum regularly on a high-pile setting. Clip loose ends with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills immediately with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning recommended.

See our rug care guide for more tips.

What Makes a Floral Rug Feel Modern

A floral rug earns its place when the botany is handled with restraint, and Vine leans on that idea. Rather than scattering blooms, it builds a continuous field of leafy vines that mirror across a central axis, so the eye follows the scroll of the leaves instead of hunting for a focal flower. Tonal amber coloring keeps it grounded, letting the pattern read as texture from across the room and as fine detail up close. That makes it forgiving to style: pair it with linen, aged wood, and rounded seating for a layered, lived-in room, or set it against clean modern furniture so the ornament does the warming. Hand-knotting is what holds the detail. Each knot is tied by hand on the loom, building a dense, durable, heirloom-grade surface with a low pile that keeps the leaf-work crisp through years of use.
