As a runner, Poppy is a red rug stretched long and lean, a ribbon of warm true-red wool in a bright poppy tone that runs unbroken end to end with no pattern to interrupt the line. That clean field is what makes the shape work: a narrow path of solid color draws the eye along its full length and gives any long, narrow stretch of floor one warm line to follow. The surface is a soft, even pile that feels plush and cushioned underfoot. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that gives the red its depth. It is made to order in any size, so the runner can be cut to the exact length of your hall, kitchen, or entry. Each rug is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Our Picks for You

Sizing a Red Runner for a Hall or Kitchen

A runner lives or dies by its length, and a solid like Poppy makes that fit easy to read. In a hallway, aim to leave a few inches of floor on each side and at both ends so the red sits as a deliberate band rather than wall-to-wall carpet; in a galley kitchen, a runner that stretches the working length of the counter keeps the warm color underfoot exactly where you stand. Because the field is uninterrupted, a long runner never looks repetitive the way a patterned one can, the eye simply travels the color from one end to the other.

Hand-tufting suits a long, narrow format well. Artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool through a backing by hand and shear it level, so even a sixteen-foot run reads as one continuous, even plane of red. Explore more long, narrow options in our Runner Rugs collection, or see the color on its own in Red Rugs. Every Jubi rug is made to order, so your Poppy runner can be woven to the precise length your space needs.
