Leticia García Blanco, from Gallería de Arte Peguero García, is a master artisan with a deep-rooted family legacy in claywork. Born in Santa María de Atzompa, she was taught by her mother, Teodora Blanco, to create unique clay figures, drawing inspiration from local legends and everyday life. Leticia's artistry, passed down over generations, blends traditional methods with imaginative designs, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of her community. For over 50 years, she has honed her craft, contributing significantly to the preservation and evolution of this ancestral art form.
